Once upon a time there was a little girl…

... that loved to help her mum with baking.

My name is Bea Turton and as far as I can remember back, I’ve always been interested in baking and of course as for most of us, my biggest inspiration was my mum.

I’ve been baking since I was about 8. My mum was an amazing cook and an even better baker. She used to bake almost on a daily basis. We always had some dessert prepared by her and I was very eager to learn everything from her. I watched her since I was very little and one day she let me weigh out the ingredients… then to crack the eggs… and soon I was making my first ever own sponge, then  biscuit and lattice cake.

I didn’t realize until I was older, that my mum wasn’t really just an ordinary baking mum. She made us macaroons, strudels, doughnuts, fruit baskets, Iles-flottantes, fudges and more. (I know some don’t require baking.) She always baked our birthday cakes, that tasted amazing. Traditionally, every 5 years, so for our 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th birthday she made them a special, 2 tier cake for us.

So … when I had my son, I made his first birthday cake, then the 2nd. Then I had two more daughters and by then I was making cakes for all my children and other members of the family. Then friends kept asking for some. I started making decorated biscuits and cupcakes for the primary school cake sales as well and one day it was time to set up my own business and enrole into a patisserie school to improve all my knowledge. It was a long journey and I’velearnt a lot, and as the industry is evolving I’m still learning something everyday. The best feeling of all was to find my own style in piped buttercream flowers that I hope will please you as well as the other designs.

Prices

WEDDING CAKES

Please see below our basic prices. Our basic design includes butter cream or ganache and a top layer of white/ivory fondant and a ribbon that matches with your colour scheme. Naked cake prices don't include flowers or other decoration.

If you have a complex design in mind, please contact us for a personal quote. All personal price quotes reflect to the design and amount of work involved.

These celebration cake prices are for iced sponge cakes with basic design such as name/birthday message and other simple designs. If you wish to have complex designs (sugar paste flowers, 3D figures, etc.), please contact us for a personal quote.
