A family business, run by Bea and Mark Turton. It all started with Bea setting up her cake business that over the years has grown into full event’s catering with her chef husband Mark joining her.
Bea’s passion for cakes has made her one of the most popular cake makers in Monmouthshire and she became the preferred wedding cake maker of the prestigious Angel Hotel and Oak Room in Abergavenny.
Mark is a chef with over 30 years experience having worked in some of the top restaurants in Britain. He started his career with the Roux Brothers working at Le Gavroche and their outside catering company, where alongside Albert and Michel Jr he catered for prestigious banquets including one for Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Later he moved to Wales and worked as head chef at The Crown at Whitebrook and The Angel Hotel in Abergavenny. Later when the couple had their own restaurant, it achieved Michelin recommendation and several other awards. They also worked for years in Budapest, where they catered for private events, including one for the movie start Eva Longoria while she stayed in the capital.
Their ethos is to use seasonal ingredients which are traceable, ethical and from a sustainable source. They work with several local suppliers to make sure that the provenance and sourcing of what goes on the plate reconnects us with our heritage, our land and our people.
